- Since reading 'Swallows and Amazons' as a kid I have longed to sail. I don't swim too well, and my parents therefore thought it too dangerous.
In 2006 I bought a cheap Mirror dinghy and sailed her for a season and then she was destroyed in a tornado. Now I have a Wayfarer and enjoy this bigger boat a lot.

Well, hope you stick with the Wayfarer for your daily dose of sailing. You know, sailing time on the water is inversely related to hull length! But seriously, that looks like like one beautiful boat.
Well, since owning her I can agree -- spent much less time on the water than before. But then we are approaching the winter non-sailing season anyhow and we are desparately working hard to get her on the water by Christmas and sailing by the spring.
