One thing I had noticed while sailing Galini was that the foredeck tended to bow if you sat or stood on it. While we had been painting the hull the foredeck had been supported on a tyre and had flattened a little. Overnight it had returned to its normal shape but today we decided that the best thing was to reinforce it with a couple of layers of thin marine ply from the inside.
